The TEG2-126LDT is a Low Delta Temperature designed module. Ideally designed for body and micro harvesting applications. Micro Scavenging heat to power “internet of things” is difficult at best. Sensors require battery power which depletes over a short time requiring constant battery changes or charging. Thermoelectric power modules properly designed into a wearable can extend battery life 10 to 100 fold. Scavenging devices require autonomous power to be effective and long lasting without scheduled service appointments to replace batteries, which lose power always at the most inconvenient times. Most require maybe 1V to 2V at 20ma, or less? We have done extensive testing with our IoT sensors which we manufacture for Dapagee IoT industrial sensors. They provide an end to end solution as well as custom integration with exiting incumbent sensors, allowing them to integrate to a cloud based system.

The main consideration is how to design a TEG scavenger module to provide the most possible power given so, little the available DT provided in the application.
